Steve Hill
Steven was born and raised in Los Angeles. It was in those very early years
that he heard great stories about racing, Hal Cole, his grandfather, who raced
at Indy for many years. So at 14, Steven built and raced his own go-kart. He
built several cars in his youth and drag raced at Lions Drag Strip and Orange
County Raceway. Steve is interested in almost anything that goes fast. From
aircraft ( he is a private pilot ), to racing motorcycles ( he raced 400cc open
class motocross, Elsinore Grand Prix and off-road desert raced ), to off-shore
race boats ( he pulls a pro water-skier at 70 mph! ) , Steve has always been a
participant, not a spectator. On 10-31-1997 He earned his NHRA Pro-Stock
license.
